Currie Turn 9 Lightweight Pro-Touring 9" Rear End

This complete rear end includes the new Currie Turn 9 lightweight fabricated housing with the GM F body leaf spring mounts for your specific model installed, the Currie forged steel late model large bearing (Torino style) housing ends installed, a Currie/Strange aluminum gear case & aluminum big bearing pinion support, billet steel 1350 yoke, TrueTrac posi, 31 spline axles with bearings installed, and the gear ratio of your choice.

Our Currie Turn 9 lightweight fabricated housing was designed from the ground up with the weight conscious racer in mind! The 17 3/8" wide housing center features a .119" thick chromoly steel body and a 5/16" thick chromoly steel 3rd. member mounting face. Welded in internal bulkheads, unique to Currie housings, tie the face, the body and the tubes together, and, exclusive to The Turn 9 housing, the bulkheads are windowed for additional weight savings, allowing the center to weight in at just 17.5 lbs.! Tubes installed are 3" x .188" wall 4130 chromoly. Currie fill caps are installed on all Turn 9 housings and drain plugs are optional. Housing is custom built to your overall width and pinion offset specs. The Turn 9 is arguably the strongest & lightest fabricated housing design on the market!
